I turned on my computer this morning and noticed that the little green light was on beside the i sight. I thought to myself, this is wierd, thats usually off. I then tried to open photbooth and all i get is a green screen, with no picture. Everything else on the computer seems fine, as I am using it right now.

Does anyone know whats going on? I restarted several times, and still nothing. I think I might give apple a call...

    Try the steps in here:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93240

    In short:
    1) Try another application that uses iSight (iChat, etc)
    2) See if it's recognized at all. Go to the blue Apple -> About this Mac -> More Info, this opens the System Profiler. It will show up under USB if detected.
    3) Create a test user, or if you already have another user, try logging into that. Is it the same issue there also?
    4) Reset PMU. For a MBP, you shut it down, disconnect all cables (including power) and take the battery out, then hold the power button down for 5 seconds. Nothing will beep or blink or anything, just release it, then reconnect the battery and power and start it up again.

If it still doesn't work, contact AppleCare and mention what you've done, if they don't have any further steps to offer they will give you your closest service provider or Apple Store to have it fixed.

My personal suspicion is that it will work if you reset the PMU, but follow the steps as outlined first.
