Can i put a disc smaller than normal size into the new macbook pro slot? I just purchased it and it is for an external harddrive and i dont want to break it and i want to know if it will work before i put it in and maybe get the disc jammed or stuck.

No, do not insert it in. But a question, I'm wondering why the disc is smaller than the standard, if its any normal brand.

A lot of hardware, and a lotta stuff from ebay, all have their drivers on smaller cds like that. Guess it helps with the packaging, ddont have to make a bigger box just for the cd.
