    Macbook Pro Audio Input

    Having tried my headset's microphone with it, I realised it doesnt work... =( Should have read up on it before making my headset purchase.

    I was wondering if you guys have any solution to this problem?

    Maybe a few more details, like what kind of headset it is, or can you return it for another one, etc. That would really help us troubleshoot.

    I though it had to deal with the audio input and how the microphone has to be powered in order to use it, because the audio input on the MBP is for professionals who have a easier time using those kinds of inputs that aren't powered. Make sense...? You could always try a USB headset.

    Its a Sennheiser PC140. I guess i have to go buy the USB headset that is 50$ more expensive?

    Or, just use the built-in microphone with better headphones.
