    Macbook Pro 2008 Graphics card upgrade?

    Hey Guys I was thinking to buy a MBP soon and im wondering if the 9600m GT graphics card is upgradable? I heard it was choppy Playing L4d, Far cry 2.

    There is nothing you can do, most laptop graphics cards are not upgradeable.

    Only very very specific laptops have upgradable gpus. Even then, they don't offer many choices. The macbook pro in this case is not one of them. Apple has never been a cutting edge gaming company, so there's no reason to offer it.

    Really, if gaming was your priority, I wouldn't consider a Mac.

    Its not choppy playing those games. I've played them all on decent settings and resolutions on my previous gen with a 8600
