    Macbook Pro 15" 9600m GT clocks

    I was hoping they would be *about* 500/1250/800 (the nvidia reference clocks)

    Does anyone know the windows clock speed?

    The default 3D clocks are the same in any OS since they are independent.

    Are there any drivers that allowing overclocking in Windows. (9600m GT 512)
    In GPU-z it reads.
    GPU 500
    Memory 792
    Shader 1250

    Under Nvidia Control panel it states.
    GPU 393
    Memory 700
    Shader 786

    This ins't 2d speed according to Nvida CP.
    So are this cards that crippled from Apple?

    I believe Apple has lowered the power of the GPU in order to let the notebook run cooler, but I might be wrong..

    check your power settings! all reviews stated that mbp's get ~6000 3d mark points, which is the average result for those cards!

    Only using Balanced. I will check with Rivatuner and see if I can overclock that way if my card is at those much lower clocks.

    When checking with riva Tuner. I get the same low clocks stated above.
    The good news is with Rivatuner I Can OC to the stock clocks.

    Has anybody been OC'ing thier card in Windows while gaming.

    anyone? I'd like to hear about others' experiences overclocking the gpu, as well.
