    Hi

Does anyone know the make of the ssd Apple uses in thier Macbook Pro 13?

Does the Macbook Pro 13 use Sata 3.0?

Are the ssd that fast or is it better to buy a ssd from newegg or somewhere?

    Thanks

It will always be cheaper to buy a SSD from another place and DIY install. The MBP 13 uses SATA/300 (SATA 3.0 Gbps, erroroneously identified as SATA-II).
