have you downloaded and installled the SMC update specifically? It solved the moo issue to everyone I know. The SMC update needs an special install procedure (IIRC, download the update, run the SMC installer, it will reboot the Macbook and run the fans at full speed then reboot again), make sure you made it.

There should be a quite a few threads here on this topic, it's been a while since we had this question so I forgot a bit about it, but I recall one person that opened his and found out what the issue was, I'll take a look for it again.

can't say nearby... but, there is now a high pitch buzzing noise under the keyboard, i think it is toward the center right, maybe the CD drive? this occur just after it wake up from sleep, then after about 5 minutes, Okay... this not right, so i then look around the notebook and move the screen then its gone! what's going on? should i call apple? what do u think they'll do? i rather they replace the entire laptop rather than tearing my laptop to replace something inside... help anyone?

update: i find the cause of the buzzing, it seems to be; if the display screen is fully extended, the corner came into contact with the base of the macbook; when the you put the macbook to sleep with a USB flash drive or something similar; the something in the notebook seems to vibrate, (my guess is the CD-ROM), coz the edge of the display come into contact with the vibrating notebook, or should i say macbook; it produces a buzzing sounds.

edit: it vibrate everytime it wakes up, not just when i attach USB flash drive

oh the mooing is more like a whine, is that normal? my dell desktop does this too, but at lower frequency.
