Hey guys I was hoping some of you guys could help with a problem on my mac.

    1. Everything is in caps when i turn the caps lock off and when i turn it on everything returns to lower case.

    2. the K key doesn't work at all

    3. When I press the backspace button it raises the volume

    4. The 'U' key types 'R'

Basically many of the keys will type in or do something other than what its supposed to. Anyone know anyway to fix this?

    Running OSX 10.6.6

That seems very strange. I haven't heard of anything like this before. Quick google search showed some occurrences on MBs and MBPs using Leopard but nothing for 10.6.6, maybe after a few restarts it will clear itself up. Worst case a fresh install of Snow Leopard should clear things up. Hopefully it's not a hardware issue.

Had something similar happen to a MBP at work - even a new image didnt fix the problem. Hooking up an external keyboard and everything worked fine. It wasnt until I was getting ready to call Apple and see if I could send it in and have them take a look when the user said "Do they cover liquid spills? I spilled water on it yesterday." I wanted to slap him

Thats sorta what I think happened to the OP. We'll see if they own up to it or not though.
