I'd like to get a Macbook Air, but I have a cat and I'm worried he will walk on the computer when it is closed and damage the LCD. Is there a recommended light-weight shell that can go over the top of the screen? Those little cat feet could cause some serious pressure points on the LCD!

I've found my dog standing on my MBP a few times and it is still scratch free.

Anything Speck makes will be great. I swear by their shells. If you get one though, the See-Thru Satin ones are better, in that they are a bit more grippy than the smooth ones.

Oh, you can probably save a few bucks buying it off Amazon or elsewhere.

    This...

I have a Speck case and its awesome. I know where your coming from with pets. I have two boxers and they are a notoriously clumsy breed, so I bought a Speck Case and let me tell you, this thing is awesome. Perfect fit, access to all ports, air vents on the bottom...you name it. I would also recommend buying a Case Logic sleeve as well. Look for one with a pouch for your power supply.
