Hey all, may be purchasing a new macbook. Here in Canada I can get the base Macbook Air for about 1175 + tax, and the base Macbook Pro for about 1575.
Looks like the pro gets me an 8th gen i5 as opposed to the air's 10th gen i3.
I don't think either of those matter too much to me, but I am def wondering about the screen brightness. I do really like a bright screen. Is there a really noticeable difference between the 400nit air and the 500nit pro??

I'm coming from an early 2015 Macbook Pro, which according to specs I see online, has a 300 nit display (though some sites say it tests higher than that) which I do quite like, so maybe the air's 400 is fine??

    Thx for any advice!!
    Cheers
