    Hi,

The Macbook 13 in my sig is acting up. It had OS X Lion on it, and wireless wasn't working, not even an icon in the corner of the screen. I installed OS X SL from a retail disk, and wireless still isn't working?

It's under AppleCare, do you guys think it's time to bring it in? Or is there a fix for this?

If I remember correctly, Lion had some wireless issues with 10.7.0. I'd recommend finding an ethernet port and running a system update to bring Lion to 10.7.2, though 10.7.1 addressed that specific issue.

10.7.2 has not yet been released to the public, only through developer channels. This is the iCloud and iOS5 release slated for early-mid Oct.

I thought it might have been a Lion issue, so I downgraded to Snow Leopard, and still the same problem.

Actually, there's a little more than wifi not working, the webcam and speakers don't work either.

If its not limited to a wifi issue, then I would recommend taking it in to AppleCare.

you spent all that money on applecare might as well put it to use rather then have a flaky machine. what about blue tooth. did you lose that also?

just to sort of rid yourself of the obvious did you go into network under apple->system preferences and see if your airport adapter is listed. also make sure show airport status in statusbar is checked.

Repairing Disk Permissions usually fixes WiFi issues on the unibody MBPs.
