    Hi,

I noticed that MacMall has the new MBPs for cheaper (after $150 rebates) along with some other promotions. It says MacMall (http://www.macmall.com) is an authorized dealer.

Anyone had any experience ordering from MacMall? Any issues or gotchas?

Are there some sort of caveats I should be aware of not ordering from the Apple Store? Or would I be crazy not to order from MacMall, assuming I just want the default 2.2Ghz model?

    Thanks.

I ordered my Macbook Pro from there at the end of last year and had them install an extra gig of ram and Parallels. Very good company to deal with.

    Thanks for the replies all.

I know this is stupid, but does the MacBook Pro come in the same cool box as it would if you ordered it from the Apple Store?

Also, you would figure that the $1844 would be the best price I could get, bar none, right?

Well if your a student or teacher (age doesn't matter) Apple knocks $200USD off the MBP. But otherwise, yes thats probally your best deal.
