    Hi,i ve recently bought a MacBook for my mom!it is a great notebook and everything works fine....but...keyboard has a problem!when i m typing on it,the cursor jumps to random places time to time...and that is really annoying...how can i fix this?thx...

    Probably not the issue, but make sure your wrists aren't hitting the touchpad when you're typing. The MacBook touchpad is much larger than most touchpads, and lots of people take some time to adjust to having that near their wrists when they're typing. You might be (unknowingly) moving the cursor with your wrists while you type.

    The Macbook has a particularly big touchpad; look around in your Mac control panel (or whatever the hell Mac has) for an option to disable the touchpad while typing.

    yeap,i m using external mouse and touchpad is disabled...

    Is the external mouse USB/Bluetooth/or Other Wireless?
    If it is one where you plug a USB key into the laptop to get the connection (not a bluetooth adapter) then I have seen instances where another mouse close by will interfere with it and make it sporadically move around.
