The MacBook uses the X3100, which is a graphics chip that borrows from system RAM. This makes it very poor for intensive applications, but gives better battery life than discrete chips.

well if your looking for a mac your only option option is the air....if you want a pc i'd look at the dell xps 1330....

with that budget you may also want to consider the 15" macbook pro....

Pretty sure the best gaming 13" computer is the Dell M1330, which can come with an 8400M GS (not a great card, but beats integrated cards big-time). If you step up to a 15", there's a very wide range of very capable gaming machines, including the MBP.

With my current MacBook, I can run TF2 within Crossover at 800x600, at directx 8. It's not pretty, but playable.

if you want to play games - the macbook is not your laptop. Go with the Macbook pro, or get a windows laptop. Sony has laptops at 13.3" or 14.1" that are much more capable of running games as the MB is.

Though, the Macbook Pro is only slightly more heavy as the MB and it's probabay the most portable and sleek looking machine you can find in the 15.4" range. Oh btw it's probabaly really obvious, but please do tell me you are getting that bigger HDD and extra memory from a 3rd party and not Apple - as you'd be overpaying by a ton!

The macbook 2.4 can handle css. there are some youtube vids showing that.
if you are looking for a 13" PC
    Dell m1330 with the 8400
    or a more expensive alt. LG P300, with a 8600 256mb.
