    Hi Guys,

I was just wondering if you had any tips to try to get my laptop to turn back on. I've been using it all day, and then I closed it to take into another room, and it shut off and won't turn back on...I followed all the steps on the apple site, no luck. The battery charger indicator light is also not on when I plug it in. I thought macs were supposed to be reliable! any ideas?

I thought I had the same thing ever since I had my Mac updated to OSX 10.5.5. for a while, i couldn't get past the boot-up screen. In the end, I just had to make sure there was nothing connected to my mac besides the power adapter and no CD/DVDs in the drive. After staring at a blank screen for a few minutes... it booted up!

It happens once every week or so, but it gets there in the end. Waiting for the next mac update to fix it... :-S
