Please, I have a Macbook Pro 13in w/Ret and would like to sync my Yahoo mail w/Macbook's mail. Yesterday I was told by Apple Technician
(apple store) that this 'syncing' was not possible--too many problems--and I would have to pick between one of the two email options.
Can someone out there tell me if this is true? Has anyone successfully set up their yahoo mail to work in concert with Macbook Pro's
email?
If you have been successful, pls let me know, and if you're open to it, what your settings are for this link.
Thank you for any advice. I'm a former PC user and am new to Mac.
Thank you for reading this. Mt9

You need to look up on Yahoo how to use IMAP mail, and not POP. If you set it up as an IMAP mailbox, then there is no syncing needed... and every mail client you use needs to be set up IMAP, and they'll all be the same on eery device. If you use POP, then it downloads messages to the client and can cause many issues, including syncing... the trick is to set it up IMAP.

Karamazovmm Overthinking? Always!
and to top that off, it constantly takes too long to sync and it always gets disconnected. Im changing most of the things that I have registered with yahoo to the mail accounts from apple since also their web client based service doesnt work everytime
