    Hey guys,

I'm about to get my first laptop, and one of the choices on my list is MacBook MB062. Of course, I'd love to have the Pro one, but this is really not something I can afford right now :(
The main thing that is bothering me when it comes to MB062 - how well would it work with Photoshop? This program is essential for me, since I work a lot with photos. Naturally, I need a machine that would be powerful enough to work really quick and smooth when it comes to Photoshop.
I heard somewhere that Macbook Pro is really good for this, which reportedly can't be said about 062.
Any heavy Photoshop+Macbook 062 users here? Would love to hear your oppinions and suggestions, or just guesses.

I assume you are talking about the 2.16 white model? You should be fine. Photoshop is processor and RAM intensive, so you may want to add more RAM, but the processor will be fine. The only real downside to using Photoshop on a MB is the 13.3" screen.

I second what cashmonee said. Get 2GB of RAM and you'll be fine.

Yeaps, all the MacBooks (not just the 2.16 GHz) will run Photoshop fine. 1 GB of RAM will run Photoshop (with some occasional hiccups), 2 GB will be great. Photoshop is not graphics intensive, so the lack of a graphics card in the MacBook is not a concern.

As cashmonee said, the only thing about the MacBook is its 13.3-inch screen, and 1280x800 resolution, which may be a bit hard to work with larger Photoshop images.

I absolutely love this place! Where else would you get your answers so quickly? :) Nowhere. Thank you so much guys, you're being very helpful. I decided to go to a nearby apple store and just try out this little guy and see how I like it.
    Thanks again for everything.
