I need to connect a crashed MacBook HD to any of the following computers: CRT iMac, G3 Tower or another MacBook. Do I need any adapters or anything special to do this?
Thanks

I think you'll need a 2.5" HD enclosure.
Make sure it supports the right interface (IDE or SATA... probably SATA).

Thanks. That was exactly what I needed. More rep for you.

Anyways, an enclosure for your HD will be the best alternative. It is relatively easy to setup and can be connected using a USB cable or Firewire, whichever you prefer. What exactly happened to your HD? If your computer crashed, there could be many possibilities of the cause of this. -
Oh, the filesystem's been corrupted and I want to repair it from another computer. Its not actually my computer, its my friend's. I've already tried target disk mode and tried booting from a Disk Warrior recovery CD (a data recovery product). I get a "B-Node error" or "invalid b-node tree" when verifying from Disk Utility on the installer CD and Disk Warrior claims to be able to fix it. I have a feeling there's something wrong with the CD drive too so I'm trying it in another computer. I've also used enclosures before, I'll get it working I just needed to know whether I needed one or not (I don't have the computer on hand).

The MBP uses a SATA interface. Would work internally with a Macbook (changing the drives). The others need a adaptor, like knp said.

Right, I'll probably have another MacBook on hand so that's what I'll probably use. Thanks for the help guys.
