    Mac PRivacy Question

    i would like to know if there is anyway i can password coded my folders so other people would not view them , like Music Folder, mac will ask for password before opening it. thanks a bunch

    There's no actual program to do it, but some people have stumbled over a way to do it;

    Open up the "Disk Utility" application
    File -> New -> Disk Image from Folder...
    choose a folder to protect
    choose "AES-128" encryption and press Save
    Enter your desired new password twice.


    :) Of course, you can always use a 3rd party program like Folder Guard.
