My Mac Book had parallels installed. I un-installed Parallels and need to retrieve the hard drive space back to the mac side. Has any one tried this?

Umm so what exactly is your question?

Anyways, did you install parallels and use the bootcamp partition to use windows or did you have a 'parallels-only' installation(meaning using only parallels to use windows and NOT using bootcamp).

If you were using the bootcamp partition to use windows through parallels, go to macintoshHD/applications/utilities.Then click on 'Bootcamp Assistant',select 'Create or Remove windows partition', then when it goes to the'Restore disk to a Single Volume' window click 'Restore'.

Simply find the images you created for Parallels and delete them if you want that space back.

Should be under your Documents folder in the Parallels dir.

If you're talking about Bootcamp, then I'm not 100% sure...
