The Home and Student edition is the best value at around $125 unless your require the use of Entourages Exchange Connector (the only thing missing from this version thats in standard, plus this version allows use on 3 machines.

The Special Media Edition is the best value at around $175. It includes a full Standard Edition Install disk and a separate Media Expressions disk (thats crap but you can just toss it).

I think Office 2008 is crap in general (bloated, leaky, buggy, slow) but if you require full interoperability with other versions of MS Office and need MS Exchange support its the best that currently exists.

I don't like Office 08 at all, and am basically stuck with it for compatilibity reasons. I just meant to point out, that if you're a college student, you might be able to get the Student edition for prices like $25, etc. from the university bookstore/computer store. In some universities, they're handed out free. You might want to check that out.

Wow. That statement must have taken you some time to formulate. I'm sure its a very well-developed opinion.

Seriously, why would you even waste the time to type something so stupid.

Actually, it does take quite some time for people born with mental deficiencies to type three words. Notice the lack of capitalization and the abbreviation of "cks" with an "x" in "sux". It is obvious that the writer painstakingly finger pecked his way, as he had not thought of using multiple fingers or -gasp- two hands to convey his message. It must have taken hours for him to write that, please don't bash his attempts on communicating with normal people.

Making fun of retarded people is not nice. They didn't choose to be that way, they were born like that.
