The irony if this is true.

I like both platforms and never took them seriously as some people do, but love the humor is some of them.

    so what??
Microsoft is not media making companies. therefore, they decide to do outsource it to other companies, and the company that get the contract is used mac to edit the clip. That's about it. As long as Microsoft gets what they want, why do we have to worry about who making the clip?
Imagine the day that only Microsoft/Apple/Linux is the only company existed. You wont even have these kind of threads to talk about.

it is true and not the first time Microsoft used companies that run Macs. Then again Microsoft makes Office and various hardware for the Mac themselves.

eMacs? People still use those? In a video production company? That makes no sense...

I believe it was long reported that the company that did the original Seinfeld-Gates commercials was a Mac studio. If Microsoft hasn't changed production companies then it would be true.

The most recent Microsoft commercial promotes a HP laptop over a MacBook Pro to "cut video", which would be most ironic if the commercial itself was made on a Mac.

I know, it really is pointless news :p Besides, they're advertising that Macs are expensive, not that they suck.
