    hey, i havea first generation 512 mega bite ipod shuffles and my mbp pro wont pick it up at all. i tried it on my pc and you can open it up no problem like a memory stick. So is there some sort of software i need..or did apple make a product thats not apple friendly?

    also future shop is selling a gig of memory, is it compatible with my mbp??
