The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I've narrowed carrying cases down to Crumplers: The Considerable Embarassment and The Dreadful Embarrassment. There is only a $5 difference between them... As you can see one looks much more practical while the other, seems more roomy and can be used to packing clothes on last minute trips etc.

    I'll be in college so add that up too:


    (for those who dont know, the dreadful is bigger...)

    I would strongly advise not putting your MBP (or any laptop) in a bag with a bunch of other stuff without at least a sleeve.

    So my vote goes for neither, unless the larger one lets you fit the MBP along with a sleeve.
