    Hi all

I own MBP for 1 year and recently started to notice that if I place Hand on aluminium parts I get constant static electricity shocks ! It's really annoying!
Is it any good solution to such problem?
If it's matters I use MOSHI covers on palmrest area

Static usually builds up on the body until it is discharged and you feel a tingle , so something is allowing the static to build up in the first place and the MOSHI cover if rubber or silicon could be stopping the natural discharge.

But you say it only started after a year, how long have you been using the MOSHI.

Also check all your electrical connections.

EDIT : things that you are wearing synthetic material, shoes can lead to static buildup.

I being using Moshi for almost a year - but I think I came to solution - I now use big euro plug on power adapter - before that I used small cordless plug.
Now testing but I think after I started using grounded power plug static are gone.

make sure your power outlet is grounded. that's the reason for static electricity building up.
