    Hey,

Have any of the new MBP owners noticed that the spacebar squeaks?!

    It's really annoying!

    Any suggestions?

I've had a couple of squeaky keys over the years (PC and Mac). In your case you have a couple of solutions.

    1. Exercise the key for a few minutes by just repeatedly pressing it.
    2. Removed the key by popping it off and putting a little lube on the scissor mechanism. This isn't always the easiest solution but it does work.
    3. Take the machine back to the Apple store if you purchased it locally and get an exchange. They will exchange it for squeaky keys.
