I've been doing some research about good routers that can take a lot of p2p and I have came across D-Link DIR-655 (wireless-N). All reviews said it's extremely stable and rock solid.

According to Tom's Hardware it's the best router out there.

I just wanted to know if anyone tried it with a SR MBP for compatibility issues, D-LINK says they support OSx but it's good to know about people's experience in real use.

    Thanks,

I can't vouch for that one from personal experience, but I have heard rave reviews and really want one myself. I am sure it will work very well with the MBP.

    Ok I just ordered it.

I'll receive it 8/9 together with my MBP. I'll let you guys know.

It's supposed to be the best consumer router and for $115 it's not that much for a rock solid and extremely fast connection. I did some research and it uses ATHEROS chipset, the same used for Apple in the MBP wireless card.

Researching online the only issue I found is some weird incompatibility with Safari, but works perfectly with FireFox, so it shouldn't be a problem since people say you only need to configure it once and then let it running forever...
