I am looking to see if others are having similar problems as me. I am unable to make a single run through 3DMark 06 or run COD4 for more then 5 seconds without the display driver hanging. In COD4 I will see flashes of video corruption before the hang. In 3DMark it always hangs after the CPU tests.
I have my Feb 2008 MacBook Pro installed with Vista SP1 via Boot Camp. Other than the 4GB of RAM I installed, everything else is provided by either Apple or Microsoft.
I have tried several different driver versions, including the 167.44 drivers on Apple's website, and others from laptopvideo2go.
I don't believe it's the RAM, since I have run a couple of different memory diagnostics and benchmarks without a problem.
I don't know if it's the inclusion of Service Pack 1, but I really don't want to remove that unless I have to.
Is there anyone else out there who has a similarly configured system who can run either of these Apps without a problem. I only care to hear from those who have MacBook Pros installed with the nVidia chip.

I wouldnt be suprised if it is SP1, or let alone vista.
Have you tried downgrading to the original bootcamp drivers?
Other then that Id say try xp >_>; -
