    Hello there!

I'm trying to play Counterstrike: Global Offensive on my Macbook via bootcamp...

If I go to Nvidia control panel - I set everything to OFFI have 200 fps - If I turn everything on, let's say 16x anistropic filtering, fxaa on, gamma correction on, 32x csaa, 8x supersample my FPS/frames per second won't drop by even 1, still 200.. Why is this? CS:GO isn't working together with my NVIDIA control panel? any idea why? (except ambient occlusion it's the only thing that make a difference and can drop my fps by 100 or even more).

I even used NVIDIA inspector to try and regulate the optimus settings - not a single extra FPS.

Is there something I need to activate in bootcamp to make things work together? Is my GPU even in use when I play?

I tried to let CS:GO use 1 thread, 2 threads and even 8.. Not a single FPS change.. I've tried to install desktop and notebook drivers from NVIDIA it's the same deal.. I've tried to run it via Geforce EXperience, still no change... Any tips? =)

Right click on the game in Steam and select properties. Go into one of the tabs and there will be a button that says "set launch options." Enter this command without the quotes, "+fps_max 60" or whatever you want the maximum framerate to be.

Also, CS:GO has an OS X port.

    Hello sir,

Thanks for your input but this is not really the case.. ;) I've set max_fps to 300 and I achieve 299 sometimes.. But still... No matter what I do with my settings in Nvidia control panel, they won't just take any affect on my game, which for me seems like bootcamp is not really 'talking/interfering' with what I'm trying to do..

are you using the bootcamp driver or an up to date one from Nvidia? the stock bootcamp driver has a lot of issues and yes bootcamp can interfere at times

When I captures the temperature of the GPU it idles at 70 and goes up to 85-90 in just a second.. So it's the graphic that bottlenecks.. I can have my CPU @30% and it still will allow me to have the FPS.. But then the graphic gets too hot and it has to cool down.. I tried to change a lot of settings, but the graphic gets this temperature too early.. Damn them graphic cards without any fans! =)
