I have little time right now but basically, when I start it up it shuts down before it even reaches the login box. Just turns off. I checked everything, battery, AC connection, etc. I havent moved at all in the past week. Any ideas?

Does it get to the grey screen or the apple logo?

Try resetting the PRAM and the SMC settings (probably won't help but can't hurt).

I'm assuming you didn't make any hardware modifications recently, like RAM or HDD - try re-setting the RAM.

Also you may try to get to the hardware test tool from the install disk - but that'd depend on just how far into the boot process you can get as well.

    There's always the Apple Store.
