This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    BTW, for those of you who don't use Software Update much (no names will be mentioned, Sam :p), last night 1.1 was released, with some graphics updates and whatnot.

    After installing this update on my new SR MBP - it crashed twice already in few hours.

    On macrumors people are reporting laggish,hickup gaming performance after the update

    Yea...but they do that after every update...then again Apple probably messes up a certain % of people's machines after every update too...

    Safari did get snappier though :p
