    Hey!

Well I started using Final Cut Express on my Macbook Pro and I've been wanting more RAM to go along with it. So anyway last night I placed an order for 2 sticks of 2 Gb each from macsales.com

So I'm going to upgrade my machine to 4 Gb.. I'll then drop my 2 sticks from MBP to MB. Anyway my question is anyone know if this ram is stable and runs sufficiently as I went with OWC enough I normally go with Kingston or OCZ but I heard this brand performs well from some friends who have similar machines as I do.

Secondly, anyone using Leopard that the revision today has fixed the MBP problems associated. I'm was still holding off on upgrading but am eager to use the new features!

Um, yes form what I can see the update fixed all the issues in regards to sleep ands slow-ish performance from expose. I'm actually going to see if they fixed the issue with iStat... I'll edit with the results.

EDIT: ok it seems to have solved the issue with waking the system, it actually wakes up now. However performance is still sluggish after waking it.... so iStat Pro is off my dash again :(

Basically any pretty well-known brand of RAM will perform fine. So I would not worry about that :).

As for Leopard, 10.5.2 does fix quite a lot...of course, its not 100% fixed but most of the common issues are fixed by now, I would not worry about that.
