    my MBP 17" is running so slow as of late. Is there anything I can do to help performance on this system.

    I am new to MAc so a tutorial would great if any body has one.

    I am pluggd in and on max performance. My vista partition run fine. Only OS x runs slow.

    Describe 'slow'. Also, check Activity Monitor to see if there's any app eating up your resources, such as CPU or RAM.

    Thanks Budding. Found it. PrintjobMNGr It was running at 79 to 100 % CPU. Was getting a little vexed as it was cutting my Battery time down to less ten 2 hours.
