Maybe they will paint the power cord silver so it matches the MBP now :p.

So that it conducts electricity even better on the outside than it does on the inside? :p

Let's wait for those guys who plated the MBP gold to do that one first ;)

    Of course! :D

But really, for the people with the black MacBooks, I find the white power cord and white Apple Remote really doesn't match...this is what I mean when I say Apple isn't always consistent with things :p, such as last year, when the iPod Nano and Shuffle was redesigned but the iPod Video was still the old generation look.

hmmm. My adapter started to fray at the base after about 2 weeks. What I did was to bend the cord back down to the base after about 1.5 inches, then secure it to itself with electrical tape. It's like if I taped the bars of this- U -together. It works very well and hasn't frayed any more since then. It's not that pretty, but if I really cared I could replace the black electrical tape with white.

Why not try to get it replaced under AppleCare?

I suppose I could, but I just haven't really had the motivation to do it. I'll send them an email now.

Well, might as well wait until Apple releases their new adapter so you can get the new one ;)

indeed. I looked for an email link but couldn't find one, and applecare phone support is 6am to 6pm pacific.

I probably will just wait until the new one comes out, seeing as how the current ones take about 3 years to get now :p.

Actually, I think the BlacBook + white adapter looks pretty cool....

As for the Computer Choppers doing an MBP adapter, uh, wouldn't they make it gold to match the MBP? :p Actually, plating your MBP only costs $1500, thats a lot less than I was expecting. Colour me tempted. Or gold. :p :D I'm kidding, but I think that it looks friggin awesome, cause its sooooo shiny.

So I assume you like the black iPod + white earphones combo too? :D

I don't know, I just don't like how its not matched. The same reason I like the MacBook...everything is one standard colour (white or black), compared to say an old Dell, where the casing is silver, the keyboard is black, etc. It really doesn't look nice to me.

Although with that point, I probably wouldn't like black iPod earphones either :p. iPod earphones are so iconic for their white colour.
