Recently my MBP's screen has been having issues. I'm out of warranty. On boot, all the areas that should be white are colored cyan. Sometimes after a random amount of time (different each time) it reverts back to normal. Sometimes it doesn't revert at all.

I won't be taking this to any Apple stores near me, unfortunately most of the guys who work in those stores in my area don't even know what a BIOS is, let alone a driver.

again which model. Ive seen it being the LVDS cable and GPU many times. does the unit feel hot, or does the colors change when you tilt the screen forward and backward while running. if it is white then cyan when you are moving the screen it will be the LVDS cable. if not it could be a bit more serious issue. ( Panel or Mainboard )

I thought the model was a MBP Late 2011 (Model stated in the title?).
    Macbook Pro, Late 2011.

Is it something else? Colors don't change when screen is tilted. I've tried that already. The whites stay cyan and go away randomly (sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes after 40, sometimes longer). It goes away when I'm not touching it either. It will just revert back to original colors.

Okay, I'll be reinstalling the OS first to see if that fixes anything.

I doubt that will fix anything. I remember my 2011 13" MBP had issues where the display would show a cyan, black, and white checkerboard pattern after I opened the lid waking it up from a sleep cycle. I had to force shutdown my MBP in order to make it go away. That was when running OS X Lion though and I have heard that Apple fixed that specific driver issue (the driver for the display/HD3000 would fail to start) with OS X Mountain Lion. What version of OS X are you running? Re-installing the OS probably won't permanently fix anything especially if you are just re-installing Lion (which still has the bug).

On a side note, I'm not surprised the Apple employees don't know what a BIOS is given that Macs don't use a BIOS, they have an Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) instead.
