I am hearing how people love the new LED screen in the MBP. the Apple store here doesn't have it yet, but how does the new LED screen compare to a current external LCD? is it still brighter? better viewing angles? etc?

here are the specs of the lcd panel in the MBP. Even though it has an LED backlight, It is still just a TN, 6 bit panel. Any decent desktop LCDs/ LCD TVs will have much better specs, especially if it is an S-IPS. That being said, I find the panel on my z96j to look very nice (and its inferior to the new MBP).
