So I upgraded from the MBP in my sig to the 2011 15" 2.2 i7 model and had a question. Every time I switch from discrete to integrated some apps stop displaying graphics. Like socialite and youtube. I have to restart the apps for it to start working properly again. Is this normal?

I've found Flash mainly, and some other stuff in web browsers not switching correctly, especially changing and then trying to go to like fullscreen video... it works best if I use gfxCardStatus and manually switch before running the web browser for best functionality. This also helps in some games... the way Apple thought out the automatic switching is pretty flawed logically, so I've found it best to just always do manual control.
