    Hey!
    I visited the indian apple site to check the price of the macbook..
    And voila!
    The MBP had only core duo processors and not the core 2 duo..
    Does this mean that macbook pro will not be available in india with the core two duo???

    Well there is apparently a shortage of Core2Duo's, so it would not surprise me if they held them back in some markets.

    I would imagine that it will just take some time for the production to ramp up and the demand to drop off a bit.
