My mbp is kind of freezing when it reads files. For example if i click on a folder i have to wait like 40 secs for it to open and when i click on a picure i have to wait 40 more secs for it to show the preview... It doesnt freez 100% but it reads everthing so slow... I have bootcamp and this also happens on windows.. but only when i try to read the mac partition from windows. What could this be?
I have macdrive installed on the windows side and it shows that the mac partition is corruped. Does this have anything to do with it?
I think it may be some virus or something.. is there any free antivirus for mac?

I think the best solution is to do a fresh re install of the operating system. Beyond that I would suspect a faulty hard drive.

Sounds like disk problems to me too.

Definitely a disk problem. Here is what to do:
- Start from CD (insert OS X DVD and hold down "C" during boot)
- Fire up Disk Utility
- Select your main hard drive, click on "Repair Disk" button (don't bother with validate, repair includes validate)
This might fix your problem. If not, I suspect an actual problem with the hard drive, but there is one more thing you can try if you don't want to replace the HD outright, that is to create a backup, format the partition, and restore from backup.
A fresh OS install won't really help any more than that, I think it would be a waste of time if you already tried the above.
If that doesn't help either, replace the hard drive and most likely you will be totally fine.
No matter what you do make sure your important data is backed up first. Hard drive failures are sometimes gradual, and sometimes sudden.
DO NOT trust MacDrive when it says your disk is corrupt - MacDrive is very buggy, it can't be trusted.
And... it's not a virus. Unless you downloaded an illegal version of iWork 09 and installed it recently.
MBP 15 (not the new one) Freezing problems.
