    Hello everyone! :D

I'm pleased to announce that I'm typing this post in my brand spankin' new MacBook Pro. Woop.

I got it two days ago at my local Apple Store, and I'm glad that I made the switch (I was one of the early Dell XPS m1330 adopters that was really let down buy the CPU whine issues and Windows Vista).

Anyways I've been searching like mad for a decent bag to carry my MBP around. What Ive been looking for is a shoulder bag with good padding/protection but that isn't very cumbersome in size. I'm on the verge of just dishing out the $60 for the incase nylon sleeve plus because it's practically just what what i'm looking for (something thin/light/with enough compartments and padding), but what's holding me back however is the $60 pice tag (spending $60 on a bag for me is kinda tough... I'm willing to do it though if there's nothing else). So basically I wanted know if you all knew of another case that might be similar or comprable to this one (being of the thin/low-profile type)... and hopefully cheaper.
Thanks in advance everyone.. and I'm looking forward to being around this section of the forums more. ;)

I think it's silly that people will spend $1800-$3000 on a notebook, but they can't shell out another $100 for a nice case to carry it in.

If I were you, I would buy a nice case for my nice laptop. I like the Moshi Codex case. It doesn't have a shoulder strap though, and it's $70. A Crumpler Skivvy is another alternative. It has a shoulder strap, but it's about $60.

That argument is silly. Some things are worth a million dollars, some are not worth more than 10, its all in a persons perspective. Besides, $100 cases are a nice way to attract attention from thieves.

Back on topic, im using a bag originally designed for Dell latitudes, but i got it free courtesy of my employer :D

I would recommend Brenthaven, sometimes they can be had for about 60 dollars... they offer amazing protection (i have dropped my bag many times and never had any damage) .

GREAT BAGS/ DECENT PRICES good luck.
