    I can get a brand new Macbook Pro 15.4" 2.2 gHz Santa Rosa w/Nvidia 128MB for $1399 US. Good deal? Or just wait?

    yeah that is a fantastic one.. Not as good as the one I just did i think

    2.2 Ghz core 2 duo, 128 8600, 4 Gb's of ram, 120 Gb HDD warranty up in August 1500$.... But at least I got my under-powered Air! ahhhh! :)

    1399 is way low....I paid 1999 for that machine last month...then returned it for the Penryn...but thats what it was "worth" a few weeks ago.

    Last I checked, Apple is still selling them (via refurbs and clearance) for about $1499 or so.

    Yep, brand new (Santa Rosa version). I guess I can't pass it up for $600 off what it was a month ago. I should be getting it this Saturday hopefully. The store only has 33 left.

    Excellent deal (everyone already said that). I love mine (barring the issues I have had), and would not go back to a PC unless under duress from a group of aliens who wanted me to eat a termite mound.
