    MBP + Chillpad?

    i'm having heat issues with my mac, i just got into doing some gaming on it, mainly WoW

    and it gets really hot

    anyone recommend a chillmat?

    or should i just not get one?

    just curious =)

    Its just heat, and nothing gets damaged. It shouldnt overheat, it just makes a lot of warmth.

    Wrong MBP has heat issues when running a 8600m GT DDR3. HEAT DOES DAMAGE! COMMON SENSE!Heat is the enemy of anything electronic.

    Yea it will damage it if theres a crazy amount of heat.
    But the mbp gaming, has enough cooling that it wont blow up.

    I've seen other laptops that do overheat when gaming, and the only solution is to use cooling pads, or put it ontop of an AC vent.
    That kinda stuff doesnt really happen with a mbp.

    Actually no many people have issues with MPB over heating. And often shutting down due to temperatures being too high.

    i have the Zalman NC2000. It did not really help my MPB as it did my vaio. I think part of it is because the MBP does not have vents on the bottom of the notebook like other notebooks do. I don't think i would recommend it for MBP's but for others yes.
