    MBP & UBS Ports

    I have a quick question on my MBP usb drives.

    I tried to search but could not find it.

    It seems as though my usb hard-drive only mounts on the right side of my laptop, but will not mount on the left side.

    It gets powered by the last side, but not actually mount.

    Anyone notice that??

    i never had that problem with any of my USB ports equiped device... something is fishy.. if i had to guess its a faulty machine.

    which model is it? the latest unibody one?

    yes I would say something is wrong with the machine. Take it back and get another one.

    It can't be the unibody model, as it only has ports on the left side.

    But that is really weird, take it to an Apple Store...

    Sorry i couldnt reply to this earlier, but it seems as though i just got my laptop back, and the new motherboard doesnt work as well :( .... i am having a lot of lil problems with it.
