    lulz, is it just me or is 999 - 500 = 499 =/= 599? The price cut is 400; just wanted to point out the elephant in the room =P

    uhh... the SSD was reduced from $999 to $599 (-$400) and the processor upgrade was reduced from $300 to $200 (-$100). So it total, the upper tier MBA w/ a SSD was reduced by $500. Where's the elephant?
