    MBA 2010 will not boot after OS update

    MBA gets to Apple logo, than shows blank but not black screen. It was not backed up and I need pictures from photo app. I have the USB drive with OS. Will reinstalling OS from USB drive erase the photo app data? What are my options?

    Do not reinstall the OS. It will overwrite your stuff.
