2011 Macbook Air 13" i7 owners, how satisfied are you running these laptops? Also, how well have they performed for you with apps like SolidWorks, ProE, Matlab (w/ & w/out simulink/cage) Mathmatica, etc?

I've read the other threads, but thought updated feedback would be beneficial. My main attraction to the MBA 13 is its portable size, light weight, robust build quality (no fan vents on bottom to be blocked by thighs), and higher 1440x900 screen resolution.

i've been considering the i7 1.8Ghz 256GB SSD model fwiw

The reason I ask is because:
With Solidworks in Win7, it never seems to use more than 2GB memory with the assemblies I work with. Plus matlab and some basic cfd simulations run fine in terms of time-to-completion on my Core-2-Duo 2.5ghz cpu with 6mb cache.

So those of you who've used any of the above apps on an i7 MBA, how well did it work for you? Thanks! :)
