Hi guys, I have been experiencing some problem with my macbook as it tends to shut down automatically when I activate bluetooth with my mini dvi connected to a dvi monitor, and firewire connected to an external sound device. I am not quite sure if its the bluetooth but I notice my computer will not start after it shut down automatically until the firewire, the power plug and the mini dvi is disconnected then connect it back again and it will start again. If any of you experience this problem let me know otherwise I think i have to contact applecare.

Well, it's known that sometimes firewire causes some weird problems with your screen blacking out, and the computer 'seems' to be shut down but its not, but thats usually with external harddrives, I haven't really heard about it with soundcards, but just keep it in mind.

What week is your macbook? it's possible you need to send it in for a logic board replacement, mine was just sent in last tuesday, and talking with the Apple technician at a local spot, according to apple thinks right now, it appears to be a heat related issue, however every case is different.

Now when you try booting your computer, does it start and then quickly shut off, or just won't start at all? sometimes just resetting the PMU does the trick as for the PRAM.
