This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Lost icon in dock

    I accidentally drug the "A" icon that is next to the trash can off my dock. How do I get it back?

    open Finder and it's on the left. That's the Applications folder, and you can drag it back to the dock at any time.

    That is a link, and by default it links to Apple's Mac OS X page.

    If you want it back, go to that webpage, and drag the favicon next to the address to the Dock.
