So that i can leave one stationary at my desk, its a nousense having to crawl underneath my desk everytime and plug/unplug. So ill keep my second set in my workbag.

Apple store wants $150 LMAO are you kidding? I go on ebay and see aftermarket ones for $20-30 + $12 shipping. They say theyre magsafe and are 60W, 100-240V (matching my OEM charger), and even have the magnetic plug.

Is Aftermarket ok or should I pay for apple one? EBay has refurbished apple OEM ones for $50.

I would never pay $150 at the apple store, might as well rob me too and make me empty my pockets while youre at it. Give me a freakin break.

I am not really sure where you are seeing $150 as Apple's AC adapter is $80 (unless you don't live in the U.S.). I don't think I would trust 3rd party AC adapters, though they make work fine, but I don't see anything wrong with buying an Apple adapter from a 3rd party. You just have to be careful with eBay as there are so many fake products on it (I know I am making a gross generalization). For example, I can find a 32GB SDHC card on there for $20 yet the real ones cost much, much more than that. The eBay card will then break down after only a short time of using it. The card might even come in a fancy SanDisk container and have their label on it but it isn't the real product.

We have seven or eight adapters and they didn't cost anywhere near $150. Try your local Best Buy - they had the 65 Watt and 85 Watt adapters the last time I bought one. It is very nice to have one in the office and one at home so that you don't have to plug and unplug.

I love the fact that Apple has kept power adapter compatibility for so many years.
