This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Looking for nicecast streaming help

    I have nicecast, megaseg, and a shoutcast stream.... but i can't seem to get the stream working. Nicecast is able to display the song im playing on megaseg, so that seems to be linked up fine after i installed soundflower, i think its called. But im just not getting anything coming out of the stream. I set up the server on nicecast with the url and password also... dont think there should be a problem with that.

    And i used this same stream a few days ago with winamp, and it worked... so nothing is wrong with my actual stream... it just has to be something with the setup.
